The Division of Health Systems and Services held WHO CC Pre-Forum Session on Strand 1: Transformative Primary Health Care for Universal Health Coverage to be held on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM (Manila time) ( 9h00 – 10h30 Vietnam time). This pre-forum session aims to provide a collaborative platform for exchanging best practices, identifying priority areas for joint action, and agreeing on feasible initiatives for the next two years between Collaborating Centers and WHO.
Additionally, this session will prepare for the main forum, the Fifth Regional Forum of WHO Collaborating Centres in the Western Pacific in November, where actionable proposals and priority recommendations will be presented. Insights and outcomes from the pre-forum session will shape discussions and decisions at the main forum, ensuring a cohesive approach to advancing transformative primary health care and accelerate progress towards Universal Health Coverage.
On the site of National Hospital of Traditional Medicine, one of WHOCC for Traditional Medicine (code VTN-7), Assco., Prof., Dr. Nguyen Thi Tam Thuan and MSc. Vu Thi Thu Trang attend this online pre-forum. At this session, WHOCC VTN-7 shared the experiences/ policies to implement in Vietnam and align with WHO’s vision for the stage 2025 – 2029.
