On 21 November, 2024, People Doctor, Assco. Prof., PhD, Dr. Vu Nam – Director of National Hospital of Traditional Medicine received Mr. Mario José Armengol Campos, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to Vietnam. Also receiving the Ambassador were Mr. Dang Quang Tan – Leader of the International Cooperation Department – Vietnamese Ministry of Health. Vietnam and Nicaragua established diplomatic relations in 1979, the visit conveys a message of Nicaragua’s desire to work with National Hospital of Traditional Medicine and Vietnamese Ministry of Health to elevate the trusted relationship and effective cooperation between the two medicine to a new and more practical level, meeting both medicine’ demands for development.
On behalf of National Hospital of Traditional Medicine, Mr. Director Vu Nam expressed his warm greeting to Mr. Mario Jose Armengol Campos and his sincerely thanks to Mr. Dang Quang Tan. At the reception, Mr. Director Vu Nam presented the history, development and achievement of National Hospital of Traditional Medicine over the past 67 years. He also affirmed the important role of Traditional Medicine in public health care. He expressed his confidence that the visit would provide new momentum to enhance the bilateral traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation in the coming period.

For his part, Ambassador Mario José Armengol Campos expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception given to the delegation by National Hospital of Traditional Medicine and International Cooperation Department – Vietnamese Ministry of Health.
